If Cameron Clark were to pick a single word to describe himself, he would choose \u201cfailure\u201d. Failure is a word that many would associate with unsuccessful. However, for Cameron, he would make the controversial argument that these 2 words fit an indirect definition of antonyms. Failure is the sole reason that Cameron is currently set to graduate from Queen\u2019s University with a Bachelor of Commerce with a 4.3 GPA and has so much to offer students transitioning from high school into post-secondary.<\/p>\n
Throughout his life, Cameron has constantly faced failure, whether it be quizzes in high school, standardized achievement tests in his younger years, or losing multiple city championships in sports. Probably the most pivotal failure of Cameron\u2019s life that has landed him as a Kaizen Peer Mentor and soon-to-be successful Queen\u2019s alum is the rollercoaster of shifting from high school to university. Not unlike other teenagers and young adults, Cameron was thrown into a whirlwind of increased academic and social demands with no roadmap for navigating this unknown territory. Not one for allowing failure to be synonymous with \u201cstop\u201d, Cameron has allowed these defining moments to learn from his experiences and keep moving forward. Cameron has taught himself to treat failure as a lesson, and as a result, created a diverse set of strategies and skillsets that are applicable to numerous transitionary periods. Cameron offers the learnings that he has taken from his diverse set of experiences and intends to share his knowledge with others in an attempt to help their own transition from one chapter of life to another.<\/p>\n
