Proven on the brains that needed it most.

ADHD is not a mystery condition. At its core, ADHD is a significant deficit in one or more executive function skills: the brain’s systems for attention, self-control, planning, and follow-through. That’s why ADHD looks so different from person to person. It depends on which skills are affected, and how deeply.

Kaizen started as an ADHD coaching company. For over a decade, we worked with the brains that needed the most support: students and adults with significant executive function challenges, where generic study tips and productivity hacks simply don’t work.

Then we noticed something. The methods that worked for the toughest cases worked for everyone. If our coaching can build planning, focus, and follow-through in a brain with severe executive function challenges, it can build them in any brain.

So we expanded. Today we coach all brains: diagnosed or not, struggling or simply not yet reaching their potential. No diagnosis is required, and none is ever made here. If you have an ADHD diagnosis, you’re in experienced hands. If you don’t, you get the same proven system.

I liked that the Power Up Memory gave me options for studying. I really liked the multi-modal (study) ideas because it gave me specific options to try out that worked. Overall, the Brain Hub challenged me to be honest with myself about my approaches. Plus, I loved the cute blob family!

High School Student

As a teacher who has embraced Kaizen’s Brain Hub Academy, I can attest to its remarkable impact. This program is a treasure trove of insights, offering a unique blend of neuroscience and practical application that has transformed my teaching approach. ‘My Brain, An Owner’s Manual’ is not just a module; it’s a “brain selfie” that has allowed me to better understand and cater to the diverse cognitive needs of my students.

Learning Strategist

The Brain Blueprint assessment is particularly enlightening, revealing the distinct strengths and growth areas of each learner. It’s as if we’ve been given a key to unlock the full potential of our students’ minds. The program is brilliantly organized, making it incredibly efficient and effective in both planning and execution.

I believe Samantha Woods, the founder of Kaizen Education Services, is a pioneer in bridging the gap between the education system and the needs of those with ADHD (including the common co-existing disorders, Executive Functioning Disorder included). Kaizen Education Services provides a tailored approach to addressing the needs of students and are dedicated and successful in finding more enhanced methods to help kids reach their potential within the school system and in life.

Parent

Kaizen is amazing. The individualized learning plans are specific, easy to implement, and truly effective. Probably the best money we’ve ever spent!
★★★★★

Mike

Parent

Although the team at Kaizen has an in-depth understanding of those diagnosed with ADHD (including the common coexisting disorders), they know that more often than not, kids with ADHD are simply “misunderstood.” They are dedicated to increasing awareness of this disorder. They are helping the community have a better understanding (and empathy) for kids with ADHD through their website, blogs, parent and teacher information sessions, and more. They are tirelessly working to educate parents, teachers, and the community on ADHD symptoms and the strategies to help kids be successful at school and at home.
★★★★★

Teacher

Kaizen’s creative approach in teaching not only as an educator but as a mentor has prepared me for my own teaching career. The skills she (Sam) has taught me have helped me build a solid foundation which I can apply not only in my career but also in all aspects of my life. I would recommend anyone looking to overcome an obstacle or expand their knowledge to allow Kaizen the opportunity to assist in their goals.
★★★★★
Mardi

Teacher

I’ve become a better student by improving my study habits and organization skills. I don’t know where I’d be without Kaizen!
★★★★★

Mario

Student

The program enables all parties to link together to create a series of individualized goals that are attainable and measurable by the teacher, parent, and student. The support network that is the basis for the program means success is quantifiable, and the students can see the advantage immediately. The program is centered on the student, and there is accountability that Samantha organizes.
★★★★★

Teacher

Samantha is one of the strongest child advocates that I’ve ever seen. She is relentless and tireless in her efforts and commitment to support and help students succeed.

The Brain Science Behind Our Approach

Neuroscience That Actually Makes Sense

Peer-reviewed research backs executive function training, like what we offer in The Brain Hub at Home, as a way to boost your child’s thinking and academic success. Studies in journals such as Frontiers in Psychology have shown that neuroscience-based programs can significantly enhance middle schoolers’ reasoning, critical thinking, and test scores. [1] Gamino et al., 2022
