Every continuation is a fixed term. Unused services expire at term end and do not roll over unless an approved pause changes the dates. Your coach recommends the continuation that fits, and we walk you through it on your free consultation. Pay As You Go single coaching sessions are also available after the Student Foundation Program, for families who prefer not to commit to a three-month program.
All prices on this page are in Canadian dollars except where US dollars are shown.
Who these prices are for
Kids, teens, and adults. The same starting points apply whether or not anyone has a diagnosis, because we do not require one and we never make one.
We support students and adults with and without an ADHD diagnosis, and parents who want practical support at home. The right starting point depends on your goals and the kind of support you’re looking for.
Kaizen coaching supports, and does not replace, care from your doctor or psychologist.
Why there is no single total on this page
Because the rate is only half of it. What a session costs is published above. What we cannot publish is how many sessions you will want, and quoting that before knowing what you need would be wrong in both directions for most people.
Two people can describe the same difficulty and need different support. A student getting started on homework and an adult managing a report may need different strategies, schedules and levels of coaching. The program details above show the commitments and costs, and we’ll help you compare them.
You can review starting and continuation prices before booking. Your consultation is a chance to ask questions and understand the options, with no charge and no obligation.
What is the assessment worth on its own?
A full private cognitive evaluation from a psychologist commonly runs between $1,500 and $5,000, with wait times that can stretch past six months. The Brain Blueprint is not that, and it is not a diagnosis. It is a research-validated cognitive assessment built by neuroscientists at a leading US medical school, normed against more than 100,000 participants, completed online in about an hour, and included in the Student Foundation Program, where it is completed with the coach in session 2.
For most families it is a far faster and cheaper way to stop guessing about what is actually going on.
How can you reduce what you pay?
Most people never check, and assume the answer is no. Often it is yes.
- Extended health benefits, with no diagnosis required. Many plans include psychology services coverage. Because Kaizen’s programming is overseen by a registered psychologist, sessions can often be submitted under that category. This is the largest and easiest route and the one most people miss.
- Health spending accounts, which can usually be applied directly.
- The Medical Expense Tax Credit, where written certification from a practitioner is required.
- FSCD, for eligible families in Alberta.
- Employer professional development or education assistance funds, for adults.
- Canada Student Grants, for post-secondary students.
Two guides go through each route in detail, including which ones need a diagnosis and which do not: funding for families and funding for adults.
We also provide the receipts, session descriptions and coach credentials a claim usually needs.

Frequently asked questions
How much does executive function coaching cost at Kaizen?
The Student Foundation Program is $1,995 CAD or $1,495 USD. The adult Cognitive Architectural Profile intake is $895 CAD plus GST or $675 USD. Parent Leadership Foundations is $695 CAD or $525 USD, the guided Parent Leadership Program is $1,995 CAD or $1,495 USD, and the private Parent Leadership Immersion is $4,995 CAD or $3,695 USD. Starting and continuation options, inclusions and commitments are listed in the tables above. We’ll help you compare them on your free consultation.
Why does coaching start with an assessment?
Because we can’t coach a brain we don’t understand. Every Kaizen program is built around the same idea: identify the strengths in how someone thinks, then use those strengths to work on the points of friction that are getting in the way. Once those are easier, coaching turns to building the areas that still need support. When the assessment happens depends on the program. In the Student Foundation Program, the student completes the Brain Blueprint with their coach in session 2, so the coaching plan takes shape at intake and is finalized once the Blueprint is in. Adults begin with the Cognitive Architectural Profile and a one-on-one results review. The parent programs differ in what they assess and how, and we’ll explain the steps for the option you’re considering.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. It is 30 minutes, by video, and there is no charge and no obligation.
Is executive function coaching covered by insurance?
Often, yes, under psychology services on an extended health plan, and that route does not require a diagnosis. Coverage depends on your specific plan. Our funding guides explain how to check.
Do you offer payment plans?
Raise it on your consultation and we will tell you what we can do.
Is it cheaper online than in person?
No, the price is the same either way. Most of our coaching is delivered online, with in-person sessions available in Calgary.
What if we are not sure coaching is the right thing yet?
Start with a free quiz. It costs nothing, takes a few minutes, and gives you something concrete to bring to a conversation.
Do we need a diagnosis to start?
No. No diagnosis is required, and none is ever made here. It does not change the price either: the starting points above are the same whether or not there is a diagnosis, and so is what the coaching involves.
